cant decide how i think dodgers will handle manny return and the spectacle...think padres play this game with a ton a ton a ton of motivation, but who knows

I like the LAD ML & RL tonight based on the talent level beteween the two teams. SD can't beat the bad teams.

Of all major sports, I don't believe there is any other where the addition/subtraction of one player would have a smaller effect on the rest of the team. Baseball is as much an individual sport as it is a team one so I wouldn't look for Manny's return to carry any profound meaning in the context of a single game. Long term, of course this improves the LAD as a team. Just my 2 cents.

so maybe manny's return affected the pads chemistry more than the dodgers
