Saturday in MLB and NCAA
heading out shortly to the College World Series ... opening up the beautiful TD Ameritrade ballpark,,,, George W . is scheduled to throw out the first pitch

North Carolina and Vandy.....
Vandy and its is making their first ever appearance to the CWS, and NC is a frequent visitor.

Got to go with NC in this one simpley because of past history. Vandy will make a run coming back in the loser bracket however.

This new ballpark will not yield the runs as did Rosenblatt because the field is facing the ' other ' way . The normal winds from the south will be pusing in for the most part, vs out.

Therefore watch the best pitching and defensive teams flourish this week, Same with the ' small ball ' approach. Plays into the hands of Texas in tonights game against Florida. Going with Texas
