I say let Pete in... he did nothing wrong as a player and that's what he wold go in for...

put it down in there that he bet on baseball as a manager and be done with it... Bunch of old bastards thinking they are much more important than they really are... especially in light of roids these days...

From what I hear, that was about his winning percentage on his bets also

Schmidt has always defended Rose so not a surprise but him not being in HOF is ridiculous

Agree 100%

Where I have a serious problem is with athletes / coaches / management, betting on their team to under perform. These cases should be dealt with harshly. Not the case in the rose case.

listened to a replay of an old howard stern interview with rose this weekend, made me start thinking about this again...it is sick that rose isnt in especially after they start letting all the roiders in. Rose betted on the superbowl, who gives a shit, maybe when the old guard of voters dies off he will get in

i'm so sick and tired of hearing about this prick.......if they vote him in just have his plaque say what he did, and continued to lie and lie about.......bottom line is he accepted a lifetime ban, so that's what he deserves

but if he gets in and joe jackson diesn't, something's bad wrong
