Guy is having heck of a spring for the Rays.

6 HR's 48 TBs .453 in 53 AB's little over 1.400 OPS

does it matter what your spring stats are? is this guy going to be a major contributor to the Rays this season?

only matters for guys who are borderline to make the team. no one on the team takes spring training seriously.

many guys have great Springs like him, then splat when facing MLB pitchers everyday and not minor league wantabees. Personally I hope so, I have a little stock in him.
