((((( SF GIANTS vs NY METS ))))((((( DOUBLE PLAY TOTAL )))))

SAN FRANCISCO VS NEW YORK METS

with all that transpired in last saturdays game, including the mets losing is going to provide us today with a DOUBLE PLAY TOTAL OF THE MONTH TYPE OF PLAY.....

First lets go back to saturday.... David wright was nailed, which started a lot of brushbacks including the eventual hitting of benji molina later in the game...... Thru a sf contact close to the players it was told to me, the giants and mets players were expecting sundays game to be another brushback kind of day... A lot of tension from the giants side anticipated a retailiation in which jonathon was to do the same......

Well as it turned out nothing happened from either side to its billing.... Not to take anything away from the pitchers as both j.sanchez and m.pelfrey pitched well...... But when your a hitter in the box anticipating a small remote chance of getting beaned.... Let me tell you its a different kind of at bat.... Imo i think this and the hype before gametime made sundays game a low scoring one......

Today is another day and this will be the mets second game with its new lineup.... I really like the fact that sheffy is batting 3rd as he is a better hitter in the aggressive slot........francoeur loved it in the cleanup yesterday and murphy had the game winning hit not to mention luis castillo is having a day everyday in this series in the 2 slot.....

They get to face joe martinez who is 2-1 with a 6.00 era with a whip of 1.83... In his last 2 starts in 9.1 innings of work he has given up 7 runs on 14 hits( 5 for xtra bases ) with 3 walks.... Joe has never faced any member to this mets club but has faced 59 batters this year who have hit .340 off him .... This is by far the worse pitcher on the giants staff......

On the other side of the hill we have former giant livian hernandez who is 7-7 on the year with 5.28 era...his last 2 starts in 9 innings of work he has given up 12 runs on 14 hits , 7 walks .... Even though livian has won his last 3 starts against sf including one this year ~ it has to be known that he has lost 6 of his past 9 starts this year and the giants lifetime bat .290 against him.... Some may say livian might get up for this game being he pitches better at home but i still think the giants hit him....

Rookieees last thought :

Both pitchers have gotten over 4-run support in games started ... The mets have still average of 4.5 runs pg lifetime against the giants ..overall they average a little over 4 a game this season ....

With the tension from the beanball gone away i think tonight both offenses go to work against 2 pitchers who have been giving it up and are in sub-par form.....tonight will be a hit-a-thon with the total easily surpassing the posted total of 9..... I also think the mets winning big with the lineup they have now if it remains as it was yesterday....... But the big play here is on the over.... Best of luck to those who lean here with me

2X TOTAL OF MONTH PLAY ~~~ OVER 9 GIANTS/METS -110

LEAN

METS OR METS R/L -1.5

BONUS PLAY : THE BREW CREW -115 ( VILLANUEVA STRETCHED OUT IN LAST )

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Yeah, hopefully they bust out some crooked numbers soon! Had some baserunners, just not getting a clutch hit.

Note to Sandoval! When on 2nd and the ball is hit to the pitcher or to the left side of the infield keep your fat ass on 2nd base with less than 2 outs!
