Watching PTI - the SEC is gonna experiment with a shot clock on pitchers in college bases.
when nobody is on base, you have 20 seconds to pitch - if you exceed the time, the umpire calls a ball. As a batter, if you step out of the box in the last 5 seconds of the 20 second clock, its a strike. Like or Dislike? Do you think MLB should adopt something like this? Personally I'm all for speeding up games, but not sure that this is the answer. On the other hand, I dont know what else would be the answer. |

id like the games to go quicker but this is not the way.
especially with the 5 second thing with the batters, thats just stupid. you always gotta be worrying about watching a shot clock when you should be concentrating on predicting the pitch and the situation and all that
