Should proven steroid users be allowed in the MLB HOF?

Either if they are caught or admit, vote away.

I think they should. You still need a level of talent far above others to even make it to the show, and juice doesn't help that.

Now, if they make it to Cooperstown, tell their story. I have been saying this for years. Whether it's Big Mac & the andro, Pettite, Rose & his gambling...they should ALL go and have their stories told. Celebrate their achievements, and humiliate them forever about their need to cheat. It's important for future generations to know about it.

No, unless they start a "special wing" of the HOF for the ones who "cheated" the game.

I think they shouldn't make a rule stating you can't be elected into the hall of fame if busted for steroids. Just leave it in the hands of the voters and if they get voted in so be it.

Personally life BFD I am tired of hearing about steroids and who used them. There is always going to be someone one step ahead of the testing and there will always be a player looking for the next big contract.

i vote yes they should be allowed in

if mlb wouldve tested for cheaters and we wouldve known EVERYONE that cheated, then i vote no

but since mlb let them cheat, they deserve a watered down hall of fame

Of course they have to be voted in if they are/were worthy. Who knows how many cheated and who is say that hitters who cheated werent facing pitchers who cheated.

All of their numbers from the late eighties to the middle of the 2000's should be relevant to each other and there should be a seperate standard.

Once baseball gets all new players wo all started from the mid 2000's and on we will again start to see the older numbers become more relevant again.

It sucks to be one of the players who didnt cheat and put up strong numbers just not strong for the era and get left out....those are the ones you should feel sorry for.

yes we should,

the hall of fame has people in it who prevented minorities from playing, thats worse than taking PEDs which werent illegal at the time

mrctypimp says it best

yes absolutely. if the commish turned his back and allowed virtually no testing for it, why wouldn't someone use them? Alot of players would have been out of baseball long before they were if not for PEDs, because of low cost same talent Latino players.

Don't think for one second you wouldn't have done it once you saw the kind of money the longball could make you, or the fact that winning just 10 games can get you 8-10mm per year.

Not to mention that in terms of "cheating" half those pitchers from years past used to spit on the ball, which was against the rules. So, if we're removing cheaters, you may as well revoke half of their spots too.

It's silly, really. The whole thing.

i think i accidentally voted no but it should have been a yes

anyway, you can't not let them in, it's just not fair. like everyone else said, too many people were on it and the playing field was a lot more level than most think

as far as the records that were broken are concerned, well that's a different story. it definitely sucks that records like maris' 61 and aaron's 755 were broken because those were broken by proven roid users. as far as the hall though, that's the span of an entire career and god only knows how many times the proven users faced off against other users who just didn't get caught, be it because they weren't a big enough name or weren't hitting home runs for a living

just my 2 cents.
