Chicago Cubs vs Pittsburgh Pirates

Chicago will start Carlos Zambrano who is 7-6 with a 4.59 era. Pittsburgh will send Paul Maholm to the mound where he is posting a 6-10 record with a 3.16 era. Zambrano has had great success when throwing against the Pirates going 7-1 with a 3.90 ERA over 13 career starts in Pittsburgh. Maholm has been great against the Cubs facing them three times this year and only allowing one run. However, Maholm has posted a 4.50 era since the All Star break. Derek Lee will be making his debut against his former team and Ludwick will be a great part of the Pirates lineup as well. I look for the bats to be rolling today in Pittsburgh. Over is 7-2 in Zambranos last 9 starts vs. Pirates. Over is 4-1 in Maholms last 5 home starts vs. Cubs. Over is 7-1 in Pirates last 8 when their opponent scores 5 runs or more in their previous game.
