Shutouts MLB Saturday Big Card

Hey guys, my biggest card so far this year lots of value! Lets get em! 2-1 yesterday hitting my big play

Philadelphia Phillies vs New York Mets

Philadelphia will start Roy Halladay who is 3-1 with a 2.41 era. New York will start Jonathan Niese who is 1-3 with a 5.10 era. Philadelphia lit up the Mets again last night as their bats continue to stay hot. Halladay has absolutely dominated the Mets as he has won his last six starts against New York, going 5-0 with a 2.09 ERA since joining Philadelphia last season. Meanwhile Niese struggles against Philadelphia as he is 1-2 with a 3.96 ERA in four career starts against them. Halladay and Niese faced each other earlier this season where Niese allowed six runs over four innings. Although Halladay has posted incredible numbers this year he can be hit and the Mets are due to score some runs. The Mets can score as they plated a combined 20 runs in their 3 wins earlier this week. The Phillies will continue to dominate at the dish today but I look for Hallady to give up a few. Over is 9-1-1 in Mets last 11 vs. a team with a winning record. Over is 9-3-1 in Halladays last 13 starts overall. Over is 4-1 in Halladays last 5 starts vs. Mets. Lance Barksdale will be behind the plate and the over is 16-6-4 in Barksdales last 26 games behind home plate vs. Philadelphia.

Take:

Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets Over 7.5 -105

$50/$47.62

Tampa Bay Rays vs Los Angeles Angels

Tampa Bay will start James Shields who is 2-1 with a 2.35 era. Los Angeles will start Joel Pineiro who has yet to make a start this season as he is coming off of the disabled list. Tampa Bay does not fare well against the Angels losing all 3 meetings this season. Shields is 5-3 with a 3.16 ERA in nine starts against the Angels. Meanwhile Pineiro is 2-4 with a 4.80 ERA in 11 starts against the Rays. Joel had a good season last year going 10-7 with a 3.84 era. Although Tampa Bay has yet to record a win against Los Angeles this year I dont trust Pineiro on the road. He was 3-5 with a 6.31 era away from Angel Stadium last year. Tampa Bay knows how to score runs and will put on a show in front of the home crowd today, and Shields will shut down the Angels bats. Rays are 5-1 in Shields' last 6 home starts vs. Angels. Rays are 9-2 in their last 11 games vs. a right-handed starter.

Take:

Tampa Bay Rays -155

$50/$32.26

Minnesota Twins vs Kansas City Royals

Minnesota will start Brian Duensing who is 2-0 with a 3.00 era. Kansas City will start Sean O'Sullivan who is 1-1 with a 4.20 era. The Twins continue to struggle to score runs after being outscored 33-9 during their four game losing streak. Duensing may provide the key to ending this losing streak as his numbers are great against Kansas City going 3-0 with a 2.52 ERA in four starts. On the other side, O'Sullivan was 3-6 as a starter with a 5.95 ERA last year and is 1-1 with an era over 5 against the Twins. Duensing will shut down Kansas City and the Twins will get to O'Sullivan early scoring enough runs to get Duensing his fourth win against the Royals. Bill Welke will be behind the plate and the Twins are 5-1 in their last 6 games with Welke behind home plate.

Take:

Minnesota Twins -115

$50/$43.48

Play Of The Day:

Pittsburgh Pirates vs Colorado Rockies

Pittsburgh will start Paul Maholm who is 1-3 with a 3.90 era. Colorado will start Jason Hammel who is 2-1 with a 3.80 era. Hammel is 1-0 with 6.00 ERA in two career starts against Pittsburgh. Hammel is coming off of his best outing this year and looks to keep Pittsburgh in check at Coors Field. I dont play runlines very often but I love this one. Paul Mahlom is 0-6 with a 7.82 era in seven starts against the Rockies. Mahlom struggles in the first inning as 6 of the 15 runs he has allowed this season has came in the first inning. The Rockies will try to match the team record for most wins in the month of April dating back to 1997. Tulowitzki has been struggling at the dish at Coors Field as he was held hitless for the third time in four games at home yesterday. This will change today as Tulowitzki rakes against Maholm hitting .557 with two homers. The Rockies will get off to a quick start against Maholm and wont look back. On April 7th of this year Maholm faced the Rockies where he lasted 5 2/3 innings and the Rockies went on to win 7-1. Rockies are 8-2 in their last 10 Saturday games. Rockies are 5-1 in their last 6 games vs. a left-handed starter. Eric Cooper will be behind the plate and the Rockies are 4-0 in their last 4 games with Cooper behind home plate. Pirates are 0-6 in their last 6 games with Cooper behind home plate.

Take:

Colorado Rockies Runline +115

$100/$115
