Shutouts MLB Saturday With Big Play

Hey guys, been pretty hot as of late going 8-1 the past 3 days...lets continue it today! Good luck everyone....

Big Play:

Florida Marlins vs Washington Nationals

Florida will start Anibal Sanchez who is 2-1 with a 3.46 era. Washington will start Livan Hernandez who is 3-4 with a 4.29 era. Livan Hernandez has struggled lately going 0-2 with a 7.94 ERA in his last two starts. Meanwhile Sanchez is coming off a great outing striking out a career high 11 in his last start. Although Sanchez is not known as a big strikeout pitcher, he should keep the Nationals hitters off balance as they are second to last in strikeouts this year. Sanchez deals when he pitches against the Nationals as he is 11-4 against them and has won in each of his last five starts against them. Hernandez is 1-6 his last seven team starts against the Marlins and has lost his last four against them. It doesnt look good for Hernandez and the Nationals today as Florida is hitting .359 against Hernandez in two matchups this season. Sanchez and Hernandez faced each other earlier in the season where the Marlins dominated winning 8-0. Hernandez has not pitched well in day games this year going 1-2 with a 4.42 era. Nationals are 1-5 in Hernandez's last 6 Saturday starts. Marlins are 20-7 in the last 27 meetings in Washington. Doug Eddings will be behind the plate and Nationals are 5-11 in their last 16 games with Eddings behind home plate.

Take:

Florida Marlins -130

$200/$153.85

Lean: Atlanta Braves

Will add more later!

New York Mets vs Houston Astros

New York will start R.A. Dickey who is 1-4 with a 4.50 era. Houston will start J.A. Happ who is 2-4 with a 5.75 era. Two struggling pitchers will square off today in Houston. Happ is 1-2 with a 5.17 ERA in five starts and two relief appearances against the Mets and he surrendered six runs in just 4 2/3 innings in a 9-1 loss at Citi Field on April 21. Houston as a team has been struggling to score runs losing seven of nine and being outscored 48-26. A big part to their loss last night against the Mets was that they could not produce with runners on as left nine guys on base, but were still able to plate across 4. Meanwhile Dickey has been good against the Astros as he is 1-1 with a 2.49 era in three starts and two relief appearances against them. Dickey gave up four runs to the Astros earlier this year in a 4-3 loss. I look for both offenses to get going today as this matchup is usually a high scoring one. Dickey is posting a 1-3 record in day games with an era just under 4. The Mets should have alot of left handed hitters in the lineup today, as lefties are batting .421 against Happ this year with a WHIP of 2.36 against lefties. Over is 4-0 in Dickeys last 4 starts with 5 days of rest. Over is 9-2 in Astros last 11 Saturday games. Over is 5-0 in Happs last 5 starts with 5 days of rest.

Take:

New York Mets and Houston Astros Over 8 -110

$50/$45.45

love seeing this, hope you don't mind the extra ammo here

Anibal Sanchez is 6-0 with a 2.16 ERA against the Washington Nationals, who are last in the National League in hitting with a .222 batting average.

I'm tailing you with Florida. Don't worry. I'll not be back here to bash you if the pick is wrong.
