1-1 Yesterday been VERY cold as of late but look to get back on the plus side today!!

Philadelphia Phillies vs Washington Nationals

The Phillies will start Roy Halladay who is 1-0 with a 0.69 era in 2 games this season. The Nationals will send John Lannan who is 1-0 with a 3.60 era to the mound. In 2010 Halladay posted outstanding numbers with a 9-5 record on the road with a 2.73 era. Halladay was 16-7 when pitching in night games with a 2.25 era. Meanwhile John Lannan went only 2-5 with a 4.82 era at home last year and was 4-5 with a 3.49 era in night games. Lannan is also 0-8 with a 6.09 era against the Phillies!! Halladay faced the Nationals 3 times last year two being at Washington, with Halladay only giving up one run in those 3 games and the Phillies winning 11-1 1-0 and 8-0. The Phillies are the second highest scoring team in the league at 4.8 runs per game. Halladay is 8-1 with a 1.96 career era against the Nationals. This one will be a blowout!

Atlanta Braves vs Florida Marlins

The Marlins will start Josh Johnson who is 1-0 with a 2.13 era in two starts the season. Johnson who posts outstading numbers year in and year out does not fair well against the Braves, losing in all 3 of his appearances last year. Meanwhile the Braves will start "Huddy" Tim Hudson 2-0 with a 1.84 era in 2 starts this season. Huddy is solid at Turner Field going 11-5 with a 2.48 era in 2010. Hudson not only pitches very well at home he also dominates the Marlins posting a 9-3 record with a 2.84 era in 19 career start against them. Love Huddy and my Braves in this game!!

Texas Rangers vs Detroit Tigers

Detroit will start Max Scherzer who is 2-0 with a 5.73 era in two starts this season. The Rangers will start Dave Bush who has yet to make an appearance this season, being the Rangers 6th pitcher. Bush who has spent most of his career with the Brewers has not had a winning season since 2007 and has posted an era of over 4.00 in his last 3 seasons. Bush has also never had a winning record on the road. On the other hand Scherzer was great at home last year going 8-4 with a 2.99 era. In 2010 Scherzer faced the Rangers twice winning one and losing one. With Hamilton out for the Rangers and Detroit at home I will take this matchup any day.
