Can't believe all the players going on the DL with this. I think all the following players missed time with it this year or in the recent past

Joey Votto
Khalil Greene
Dontrelle Willis
Zach Greinke

to name four off the top of my head. Had to be a problem in the past with other players in MLB and other sports.

Wonder hom many other players it affected

sometimes these guys ego must really take a hit when they think they are that good, feel the pressure of contract, fans..etc...and cant handle it

or they are just pussying out and not facing life

His seemed to have started after the death of his father.

I don't know these guys obviously but I do have a friend who had this last year and if they are dealing with the same experiences as my buddy I would not wish this on anybody. One of the things he dealt with was waking up in the middle of the night not being able to breath and literally feeling like he was going to die. At other times he would be fine and all of a sudden he would be sweating like he was in a sauna completely paralyzed not able to move, have a hard time to catch his breath. It was horrible to watch when he had one of these episodes.
