Sosa should be in, same as McGwire, they brought interest back in baseball when it was dying

Mountain Landis is the hall of fame, preventing black players from playing baseball is much worse than anything Clemens, Sosa, or Giambi ever done.

its not apples and oranges. Landis is in because he did do stuff to build the sport, but if we are going to not let in some guys for steroid use, then remove this guy from the hall of fame as well too

Landis was only enforcing the segregation laws (and customs) that were in existence then. Sosa and McGwire cheated. How is that the same ??

i'm not saying take out landis and i'm not saying that what Sosa and them did was right, but Landis was in a position of power to change things and if we are just going to sweep things under the rug because "it was law" then fair enough

but then we should sweep things under rug for that summer when Sosa and McGwire were going for the record. That was a sweet season

Respectfully disagree. Landis was simply enforcing what were the rules at that time. Were they unjust ? Of course. Did they need to be changed ? Of course. They eventually were. But Sosa and McGwire and all these other clowns cheated. And they knew they were cheating when they did it.
