Sox sign Scutaro

Nice pickup. Esp since it wasnt the 4 year deal supposedly he wanted from LA, Ana, Bos and a few other teams. 2 years with an option. Guy had a very solid year and career .270 hitter. Nice addition to secure up their mid inf

Guy has a career year at his age should raise some flags IMO...he can take a walk though. Has to be an upgrade however over anything the Sox had last year at the position. Whats this mean for Lowrie?

I tend to agree with you. He's a career .260 hitter and just had one good year at the age of 34. The revolving door has open again for the Red Sox at short.

The front office has concerns about Lowrie's injuries, so that is why they went out an got Marco.

Marco had a solid season last year. As a Jays fan, I'm sad to see him go and even more sad to see him in a Sox uniform. But overall, I'm just glad he's still playing. The guy's a solid player and deserves a starting job, which the Jays probably weren't going to give him back anyways...idiots.

I like the signing, not a Holliday or Halladay, but hes solid. Scored 100 runs last year with a high OBP and now in a better lineup in a great hitters park. Pretty solid fielder as well. Reasonable price and not bound to him for alot of years. Turned down more money and an extra year from Oakland. Nac I think this will be a solid bump thread for those other guys this summer when hes having a solid year

That's BS. Look at the Cardinals World Series and tell me there weren't on the juice.
