THE Sports PROFIT...Baseball Playoffs Thursday
Won the other night on the Yanks in their romp, and their bats seemed to have warmed up in the LA weather. Got to Lackey for 9 hits in game one over 5 innings...more of the same tonight. Series here we come!!
take: New York Yankees +109...2 units..at Los Angeles Angels, game time is 7:45 p.m e.s.t....Listed Pitchers: AJ Burnett and John Lackey. This is all about momentum in this series and the Yanks have it, not to mention the hotter bats and a pitcher who has had good numbers vs the Angels all year long. The Yankees knowing Philadelphia is sitting home waiting for an opponent also helps as they want to close out this series and get an equal amount of rest as their opponent. Now that said, that is assuming the Yankees close out this series and don't think they don't have the 04 collapse to the Redsox in the back of their minds. Yanks simply outhitting the Angels right now and thus outchancing them, and their bullpen is not nearly as overworked. Like the Yanks to close it out at a small takeback price. 2 units.
