Good day Ladies and Gentlemen:

A 1-1 day for us on Wednesday to break even as the Dodgers won on the runline but KC and Detroit couldn't get over the 10 run mark to help us out. We still sit at +.89 of a unit for the week.

A very big baseball card today, so a little shorter in the analysis and hopefully the results are sweeter for us. Get on asap to get the maximum line value which is the basis for alot of these plays today. Football for the weekend coming later today, so stay tuned.

Let's get to the action on the diamond shall we.

take: Florida Marlins +105...1 unit...at Cincinnati Reds, game time is 7:10 p.m. e.s.t...Listed Pitchers: Rick Vandenhurk and Homer Bailey. Simply put, Florida is the better team, but against Cincy they haven't shown it. Florida is frustrated with their losing ways vs the Reds and want to right the ship. Florida is a better hitting team and with no real edge in pitching as Bailey was knocked around his last start and Vandenhurk going ok for Florida, this play is on team that can produce more runs most of the time. Price a factor, play Florida for the takeback price. 1 unit.

take: LA Angels -107...1 unit...at Texas Rangers, game time is 8:05 p.m. e.s.t...Listed Pitchers: Scott Kazmir and Tommy Hunter. Edges all around here to the Angels. Although both teams are not in fine form right now, Texas is struggling much more. Losers of 4 in a row, they have ONLY scored 1 run in 37 innings and are 0 for 22 with runners in scoring position. Angels won a big game last night in Boston and haven't been on fire, but this lineup is showing more efficiency at the plate than Texas and the pitching matchup also favors the Angels. Kazmir is 5-1 in his career with a 2.28 ERA vs Tampa and his team has won 9 of his last 10 starts against Texas. We'll go with the Angels here for 1 unit.

take: St Louis Cardinals -114....1 unit...vs Chicago Cubs, game time is 8:15 p.m. e.s.t....Listed Pitchers are: Ted Lilly and John Smoltz. Any time you get a quality opponent against the Cubs, it's a must buy in my opinion. Although the Cards struggle vs lefthanders, they have beaten Lilly once this year and the bullpen also favors the Cards. And while the Cards are struggling vs lefties, Chicago doesn't exactly put fear into righthanded pitching. They are hitting only .228 their last 10 and .245 on the road. Like the home team here in this rivalry at this solid price. Play for 1 unit.

take: Colorado Rockies/Arizona Diamondbacks OVER 10 +102...1 unit...game time is 9:40 p.m. e.s.t...Listed Pitchers: Jason Marquis and Kevin Mulvey. Marquis has had a career season going for his 16th win tonight, but lately he has been the pitcher of his former self, average to less than and getting hit hard. He has lost his last 4 starts and has a 5.50 ERA his last 3 and is 0-4 in Arizona his last 4 starts with an ERA of 4.50. The good news for Colorado is they still may get a win tonight because they face Kevin Mulvey who was pounded for 11 hits and 6 runs in only 4 innings in his first start. Both bullpens are bad currently, and runs, lots of them should be in play tonight. Play OVER 10, 1 unit.

take: LA Dodgers -1.5 +151.....1 unit....vs San Francisco Giants, game time is 10:10 p.m. e.s.t..Listed Pitchers: Jonathon Sanchez and Vincente Padilla. Like the value here on the return for us with the Dodgers once again giving it to Sanchez. They have won all 4 games started by him this year by the following scores. 9-1 (six days ago), 4-2/8-0/5-3. As you can see they have pounded him twice and won two closer games, but the fact is all 4 have been by 2 runs or more. Now not that it's a surety to happen tonight, but Padilla has pitched very well for the Dodgers since his arrival and San Fran's lineup can struggle at times. Like the Dodgers to get at it at the plate tonight and get us a nice return on the runline. Play for 1 unit.
