Spring Training Plays March 1-March 7

Another year of spring baseball to keep the afternoons at work somewhat more entertaining, lol!! 9 years straight of profit from spring baseball(including over $4000 in profits from spring ball last year) and hoping for more of the same this year. Last year I made a slight change to how I bet spring ball and that was to up my dollar amounts and really just focus in on the games that I truly liked and didn't worry so much about games that I wasn't that high on and because of that it helped me in having my best spring season ever, now hopefully the same approach this year will bring similar results. I tend to not do as well in the first couple of weeks of spring ball but last year was an exception and I am thinking that is because of the new approach I took limiting the games I played, so again hopefully that will be the case this year but wouldn't be that surprised to see me struggle a little bit to start once again this year.


First game of the year goes tomorrow and I am just waiting on the line to come out between Atlanta and the Mets. Will be making a small play on the Mets and once I have a better idea of who the travelling squad will be for the Braves I may up the play a bit. As of right now it looks like the Braves will not be taking any of their top relievers with them on this trip so I give the advantage to the Mets.

During spring ball the teams pressnotes really come in handy to find out who is on their travel squad or little tidbits of info. If anybody is interested here is the site and they usually update this on a daily basis(a team or two are not as good keeping it up to date but the rest usually are). Alot of these teams will also point out who they are pitching the next day or for a few days and you can get a good idea of what type of travel teams they will be taking if it is a road game for them.

I would never say it is EASY $$$ when you are dealing with some of the pitchers that we get to see, lol!!! but yes it has been very profitable for me in the past.

Going to leave this one as is after seeing that the Mets have changed their lineup for today because of rain. Weather could be an issue today and if the forecasters are correct weather could be an issue in Florida for the month.
