The Strasburg phenom , lines are crazy!

seriously- he is 2-2
with a team 10 games under 500 playing a team that is 10 games over 500 and the line is Wash -175

sorry , he is good and they may win but that is nuts

almost reminds me of many years ago in football, everybody loved betting on Notre Dame ( ok , it was a long time ago ) but ND line was always inflated about 3-4 points

Yep, gonna put some coins on the Mets. They should be able to hit him now that they got some films on him.

A lot of people loving the Mets today, me included.

Strasburg is getting hit more and more, especially now that he is facing better teams, plus he won't get much run support from the Nats, as seen in his last two.

The kid may very well be a stud for years to come but for this nats team to lay -175 against a team that will more than likely win 90 games just is not right and way over inflated. I remember hearing something about them comparing him to doc gooden when he first hit the scene but the difference there was that mets team was very good and won the world series i believe the following year and this nats team is not that good.

I think the linesmakers are well aware. Most of the general public hears that Strasburg is pitching and they unload on him. I was in Vegas in the sportsbook when he was scheduled against the Royals. People were unloading on him at
-235. The Royals are shitty, but to lay those odds with a rookie pitcher with a few starts is insane. I watching 4 guys in front of me take the Nats. The Royals end up winning 1-0, lucky win, but still. People are looking at the line when he pitches, they're just blindly unloading and the books are cleaning up. Today is another example of it.
