I always check on the HP ump for every game, as there are a few with strike zones that really affect the score.

Had some time tonight, so here is the list for everyone at the Mall. The HP ump for Sunday and his 2009 over-under record is in blue. The most one-sided stats are in bold.

Bill Hohn is at HP in the Col@SF game, probably since Moser really doesn't havea lot of experience.

Hohn is 0-4 O-U this year, and was 10-16 O-U last year.

Mendoza great info, I am learning alot about umps this year and I believe the effect the game alot. Question for you? Where do you find this info both the O/U from previous years and the home plate umps for the games. and Will you be posting this kind of info daily?

don't know if I'll always have time to post daily

best spot to find it is covers. the ump is listed near the bottom on each matchup page. if it's not listed yet, just see who was at 1st base the day before, and they'll be at home plate the next game. click on the ump's name, and that will bring up current year data. there's a dropdown box to bring up previous years. I always like to check previous year data, especially early in the year to see if a guy is staying consistant.

If it is the 1st game of a series, they won't have any ump info available, but if you check shortly before a game starts, the boxscores at yahoo (and probably others) will list the ump assignments.

I especially like the under umps. Foster and Fletcher, I play both almost blindly.
