New York Mets Vs San Francisco Giants

I Mentioned In A Thread A Couple Of Days Ago That The Mets In The Past 10 Years Are Averaging 4+ Runs Each And Every Game Against These Giants ....that Stat Proved To Be Money This Weekend As The Mets Not Only Have Scored 4+ In Both Games But Both Games Went Over The Total With Allstars Santana Yesterday And Lincecum The Night Before.... In Fact The Mets Are 11-3-1 To The Over In Games In May....

Overall The Offense Is Batting .294 For The Season With A 189 Runs Which Comes To 5.5 Per A Game, Not To Mention They Lead The Majors With A .373 Obp.... The Mets Big Boys Against Giants Starter Matt Cain Are Solid..... D.wright(.467) And C.beltran(.500) Together Lifetime Have 11 Hits In 23 Plate Appearances With 9 Xbh To Go Along With 8 Rbis Lifetime Against Matt.... Not To Mention For This Series They Already Have 15 Hits In 26 Ab's With 12 Rbi's..... Oh Yeah I Almost Forgot That Gary Sheffield Has 7 Hits In 12 Ab's Too .....

What I Find Interesting Is That They Are 3rd In Stolen Bases With 45 ...... And To Steal 6 Bases In 2 Days Off T.lincecum (4) And R.johnson (2) (who Is Left Handed I Think) Says A Lot... They Can Beat You In Many Ways.. This Was Brought Up Quite A Bit On Local Radio Shows As People Were Pointing To Bengie Molina.... The Fact In The Matter Is That These Mets Are Going On First Movement And Getting Such Big Jumps That Bengie Has No Chance....

Mike Pelfrey 4-0 4.89 Era Takes The Hill To Which The Giants Hitters Only Have 3 Hits In 27 Plate Apperances, With 3 Of Those Going To Ancient Rich Aurilia... Now Im No Big Of A Fan Of Him But He Has Done The Job This Year .... He Also Has Faced These Giants Last Year Throwing 7 Innings In A Combined Shutout Win

Now My Giants I Got To Tell You Are Hitting The Ball Better.... In Their Last 10 They Are Hitting .284 And Averaging 5.29 Rpg But Where One Side Gets Better The Other Falls Back And That My Friends Is Their Pitching.... In That 10 Game Span Giant Pitchers Have A Whopping 5.84 Era While Opponents Are Batting .325 With A Slugging % Of .455...... Just Terrible ....even Though For The Year They Are Terrible In Runs Scored (4.11 Rpg) They Still Managed To Win 8 Out Of 13 Before This Series Started.... They Are Just Outclassed Here By A Wide Margin....

Now With That Being Said, Here Is A Tidbit I For Those Of You That Like Angles..... Today In San Francisco Is The Long Running Of The Bay To Breakers Marathon.... It Always Happens Every Year On The 3rd Sunday In May....when The Giants Are Home For A Game On This Day This Place Is Madness.... The Parking, The Traffic, And The Adam And Stevies Etc.etc. ...... Fortunately It Does No Justice For The Giants Each Time This Happens.... While The Marathon Was Running In The Streets, The Giants As Home Favorites ( As They Are Today ) Since 2000 Have Lost 5 Of The 6 Games They Have Played Here....interesting Stat But What Is More Interesting Is That Last Year On 5/18 The 3rd Sunday In May..... Matt Cain Started And Was Whipped By The Cws While The Streakers Streaked In The Streets !!!!!

CAIN WILL PITCH DECENT TONIGHT BUT IT WONT BE ENOUGH AS MY GIANTS WILL GET SWEPT BY THE BETTER TEAM !!!!!

FINAL SCORE

METS 5
GIANTS 3

10***** SUPERPLAY ~~~ NEW YORK METS +106

3**** UNDER 9 RUNS
