This week record: 0-1 (lost with the Brewers last night)
Tonight, I will go with the St-Louis Cardinals -1 vs the NY Mets. Facts: - Pelfrey won only 1 of his last 9 outings - Jackson has been the most consistent Cards pitcher. Allowed 2 runs or less in 5 consecutive starts going 3-0 - Cards are a in must win situation sicne they are 2.5 back of wild card race - Pelfrey is 2-0 with a 1.20 ERA vs St-Louis but don't get fooled by this stat, it was in 2008 Good luck everyone!

The Mets kept this contest close until bottom of the 7th when they were leading 6-5. However, pinch-hitter Ryan Theriot came in with a double with the bases loaded and it led to a 6 runs inning by the Cards. Cards win 11-6 and this play is a winner. 1-1 for top plays of the week so far. Will be back tomorrow! Hope you all had a great success today!
