Thursdays Play of the Day

I will do you all a favour and post up one play a day for you to play and win, LOL!!! For those who don't get this, that was a joke. I will try and do this most days with the exception of Sunday because God says try and rest until the NFL starts back up on Sundays.

Most days I will try and give up a little blurb about the game.

Lets start and see how this goes.

NYMets/Cincinnati over 9.5

One game I will be playing is the early game. The over 9.5 in the Mets/Cincinnati game. Perez is apt to throw a no hitter as he is to be lit up like a Christmas tree. Cincinnati throws out Arroyo who has never been a favourite of mine. Two pitchers who can be hit, two offenses who can score one real questionable bullpen in the Reds and one bullpen that does have Putz and KRod but I do have questions before that in their pen, and obviously a very friendly hitters park.

Lets go with one more for today. Not nearly as strong as the Mets/Reds game but a soft enough number in a stadium that plays smaller in the day than it does at night.

LADodgers/SDiego over 8

I find the books tend to not take into account whether it is a day or night game when playing in places like SDiego, LA, Oakland and my personal feelings is that having a daytime game in these places is worth a half to full run more. Kershaw and Correia starters for today and two pitchers that right now in my opinion are just average type of pitchers. Last year these two each had ERAs of around 4 facing their opponent from today and both had overall ERAs of over 4(Correia over 6) on the year. Average enough pitching, a stadium that doesn't play as big during the day as at night in my opinion and a low enough number that I will take a shot on this over. Again not nearly for as much dollar wise as the earlier game but enough to keep me interested this afternoon.
