Johnny peralta to detroit. Won,t make a difference. I guess dombrowski had to try something. They will be 10 games out before sept.

Johnny aint much of a player this year but he is still a better option than what we had to replace since Peralta is basically a Brandon Inge clone.

I dont care for prospects really because essentially all they are is a hyped up minor leaguer. If you have a chance to win you go for it so I'm one of the few who says go ahead and "mortgage the future" and try and get Adam Dunn and Ted Lilly to make a run.

Every team during a season goes through their ruts just as the Twins and White Sox also did and now its our turn. Only problem is our rut got compounded with injuries to a 1/3 of our lineup which makes it look worse.

Look at untouchable prospects Cameron Maybin and Andrew Miller now in Florida in the Miggy Cabrera deal or Rick Porcello who was untouchable last year at the deadline or thus far this year.

If you have a chance to make a real playoff push I say you go for it.
