Tim Hudson for Cy Young ? Baseball's Most Underrated Pitcher

WHY NOT TIM HUDSON FOR CY YOUNG ?

WE ALL HERE ABOUT UBALDO , HALLADAY , JOSH JOHNSON, WAIINWRIGHT , LINCECUM

HUDSON IS 15-5 WITH A 2.49 ERA

HIS ERA IS THE 2ND BEST IN BASEBALL AND BETTER THAN THE GUYS MENTIONED ABOVe

NEVER HAVE I SEEN A GUY FLY UNDER THE RADAR AS HUDSON HAS THIS YEAR.

NO ONE TALKS ABOUT HIM..WELL NOT AS MUCH AS THE OTHERS AND NOT AS MUCH AS THE SHOULD

here, ill compare him to halladay and wainy:

ERA: hudson 2.24, halladay 2.27, wainwright 2.30 (wow, .03 and .06 difference. that can chance with one inning pitched)

WHIP: hudson:1.09, halladay: 1.04, wainwright: 1.02 (hudson pretty high whip)

K's: hudson: 109, halladay 190, wainwright 178 (lmao at hudson and his strikeout number)

wins: hudson: 15, halladay:16, wainwright: 17

INNINGS PITCHED: hudson: 184, halladay:214, wainwright: 195 (that is 30 MORE INNINGS for doc... do you have any idea what that does to help your bullpen?)

complete games: hudson: 1, halladay: 8, wainwright: 5

shutouts: hudson: 0, halladay: 3, wainwright: 2

please close this thread now. he will get a couple 3rd place votes, and thats about it. very good pitcher, i agree with that. but cy young? just stop already

One thing I like about Hudson, he's allowed more than 4 runs only ONE tmie all season long, in 24 starts. He doesn't have the "blow up" game that some guys have every now & then. He's good every time out, and gives his team a chance to win every single time he toes the rubber.

The league is slugging under .300 against him, which is ridiculous. That's why he doesn't have the blow up game, 2 ground balls to every flyball, he doesn't give up the big inning.

He's not the favorite, but september is just starting, and easily could be the favorite 30 days from now. Lets see how well his 35 year old surgically repaired arm fairs they next 4 weeks.

He is a rookie and will mostly likely be shut down soon
He has no chance... not because he dosent deserve to be mentioned..he does... but because he is a rookie and wont come close to the innings pitched
