The trade deadline approaches, Who's a buyer and Who's a seller?

Trade deadline approaching this weekend and here are the standings

Who's a buyer and Who's a seller? And who should teams be targeting?

AL East
NY Yankees
Tampa Bay 3 GB
Boston 8 GB

AL Central
Chicago
Minnesota 1 GB
Detroit 2 GB

AL West
Texas
LA Angels 7 GB

NL East
Atlanta
Philadelphia 5 GB
NY Mets 7.5 GB

NL Central
St. Louis
Cincinnati 0.5 GB
Milwaukee 8.5 GB

NL West
San Diego
San Francisco 3 GB
LA Dodgers 6 GB
Colorado 7.5 GB

I know Twins may make a move or two. The names most mentioned here now are Ted Lilly and RP Scott Downs. Would like to see them get an Oswalt, but probably not going to happen.

Would also like them to get a Ty Wigginton type. Think he would be a nice fit here.

Does Boston become a seller? Know it's far fetched, but does adding on make sense now? or do they still have a chance?

Detroit needs to do something or they risk dropping fast and hard.

I think alot of teams will make a call to the Jays for a few of their players. I keep hearing Buck, Bautista, Downs, Fraser & even Gregg. I am sure not much will be given for those names except Bautista, but it will be interesting to see what happens.

Sox staying put. Doesn't make sense to do either.
