Trend to watch

The Washington Nationals are playing much better during their current 8 game winning streak. The pitching has hurt them, but the bats have been pretty consistent. The addition of Nyjer Morgan has done wonders for their lineup and has led to more run production. I am not trying to sell that the Nationals are about to take over the NL or anything like that but I think I have found a trend that might be worth watching. If my math is correct, Washington games have soared over the total 10 out of the last 15 games. Like I said, they have a decent offense and are going to score some runs and although they are gonna lose most nights, they are going to be involved in a lot of 11-5 type games. Kind of reminds me a little of the old Ranger teams that could pound but couldn't pitch and got involved in slugfest on a nightly basis.

Just a thought.
