The Blue Jays' team total is listed at 4.5 tonight.

The opponent has scored 5 or more runs in 6 of Dylan Bundy's last 7 starts. He has an 8.33 ERA since July 6 and the O's bullpen has a 7.56 ERA in Aug. Last month Bundy allowed 5 ERs vs the Jays.

Tampa Bay Rays (-275) vs. Kansas City Royals
7:10 p.m. ET

The Rays have attracted 84% of bets accounting for 95% of dollars, which has made them tonight’s most popular team, moving their line from -240 to -275.

Why the public loves Tampa: One of last night’s public winners, the Rays have the added bonus of playing behind Blake Snell tonight.

His 2.10 ERA is second in the American League, and tonight he gets to put that up against the worst run-producing offense in baseball.

Chicago Cubs (-200) at Detroit Tigers
7:10 p.m. ET

Behind 79% of bets and 77% of dollars, the Cubs have moved from -180 to -200 tonight in Detroit.

Why the public loves Chicago: When the best team in the National League faces a team with a win percentage just north of .400, it should be obvious which side the public is going to take.

The Cubs also swept their previous two-game series with Detroit in July, which only adds to the confidence of public bettors.

Oakland Athletics (-215) vs. Texas Rangers
10:05 p.m. ET

With 81% of bets and 97% of dollars behind Oakland to this point, the Athletics have moved from -205 to -215.

Why the public loves Oakland: The A’s are the other repeat from Monday’s card, and considering the 9-0 final score last night, it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

They now have the best record in the majors since June 15, and tonight are facing Ariel Jurado, who’s boasting a 6.41 ERA through his five career starts.

The Weather Rating distills the hitter-friendliness for a particular game into one number. It is a proprietary Fantasy Labs model and is shown on a scale of 0 to 100. The Weather Rating does not account for potential rainouts; rather, it simply examines all relevant atmospheric conditions (temperature, altitude, wind speed, humidity, and so on) to determine how batted-ball distance will be impacted.

Highest Weather Ratings

Braves at Pirates: 71
Cubs at Tigers: 69
Phillies at Nationals: 65

Wait, what’s this? I see three ratings here and none of them end with “at Rockies.” What the …

Indeed, the game at Coors currently has a 62 rating. There was one instance in July when it had a 63, and once in June it had a 65.

Seven and 16 runs were scored in those games, respectively, so just keep in mind that Coors is still a good hitter’s park regardless of weather due to its spaciousness.

Temperatures will be in the mid-60s, with winds blowing in and a chance of rain, which we will get to in a bit.

Where the Weather Rating is actually the highest, in Pittsburgh, we find an over/under of just 7.5. A large percentage of dollars is hitting on the under, which caused a sharp move from 8 to 7.5.

The interleague affair in Detroit has a much loftier total of 9, which is likely thanks to the winds blowing straight out with some pace.

Lowest Weather Ratings

Rangers at Athletics: 36
Indians at Red Sox: 39
Astros at Mariners: 40

The total tonight in Boston opened at 9.5 — a run higher than yesterday’s — because of the poor pitchers on the hill. I mean, the guys who started last night are making about 15 times more than the two tonight.

They’re also poorer in the talent department. The Weather Rating is about 10 points higher than last night’s thanks to a bump in humidity and a shift in wind direction from in to left to right, and the total has dropped from 9.5 to 9.

More than 60% of bettors are on the under in Seattle, which has remained at 8.5 since opening. The conditions actually are quite nice for Seattle, with temperatures around 80, but to be quite frank, the ratings seldom reach 50 at Safeco.

Since Mike Matheny was fired on July 14, the Cardinals have the best record in the National League (22-11)

Rain

Yesterday was a rather simple day on the rain front, but today brings no such ease.

Phillies at Washington: We’ve got ourselves a Flash Flood Warning right up until game time in Washington D.C., but after that, the rain should be scattered. This gives us a chance to play, but not a guarantee, as the rain may pick up again later in the night.

Braves at Pirates: Pittsburgh will also be pretty rainy before the game, but the chances of precipitation drop by first pitch. If it lingers like the song by the late Dolores O’Riordan and the Cranberries, we could be in for trouble.

Padres at Rockies: As far as rain likelihood during the actual three-hour game window, this one takes the cake. Depending upon the source, there’s a more than 80% chance of rain at times, which will likely scare daily fantasy sports players away from playing hitters at Coors on this odd day.

Other games with slim chances of rain include Cubs-Tigers, Giants-Mets and Twins-White Sox.

The total has gone over in 9 of the Braves’ last 12 games against the Pirates (avg. combined score: 9.67)

The Braves are 2-7 in their last 9 games on the road after winning their most recent road game.

Braves are 1-4 in their last 5 games on the road against the Pirates.

It was a play from Joe Osborne at Odds Shark.

His full game plays blow but first 5 plays and team totals have decent success
