Joyce needs to have a press confrence and admit he is total fuk up. All the players have to do it.

Cabrera had trouble getting it out of his glove, the scorekeeper should give him an error so he at least gets credit for a no-hitter.

regardless, even if they ruled he never touched first, wouldnt that be an wrror, not a hit?!?! i agree with you, should have at least been a no hitter!

EXACTLY, you have to err on the side of calling out in that situation, no brainer. So many of these umps think they're the show, it's disgusting.

Interesting point, maybe that should have been an error, in which case the official scorer screwed up too lol.

just watched the replay about 6 times .... go to the LAST angle at around the 1:25 mark and watch that angle .. the ONLY thing i can think of is that the ball seemed to hit the palm and pop out to the fingers of the glove, then galaraga tosses the ball up and snatches it again to gain full control. MAYBE the ump saw that in full-speed motion and thought he bobbled the ball and never had full control?? could that be part of it? im sure we will find out when he makes his interview
