Vlad to O's

Baltimore Orioles and veteran slugger Vladimir Guerrero are close to reaching an agreement on a one-year deal, MLB Network Radio reported on Friday.

Baltimore has not confirmed the deal and financial details have not been disclosed.

Guerrero is coming off a strong season with the Rangers in which he was named an All-Star for the ninth time in his career. The 35-year-old won his eighth Silver Slugger Award by hitting .300/.345/.496 with 29 home runs and 115 RBIs.

I would think so......plus he is picking great home parks for padding some numbers late in his career. Very good signing if its for 5 million or less.

O's still play in the best division in baseball, so they better make moves

Wish the Rangers could have kept him but since they didn't I am glad to see him go to the AL East and not back to the Angels

love watching VLad swing the bat... but think he showed his age at the end of the season and in the playoffs...

Yes Vlad is HOF IMO... dude dominated and was a great fielder with a cannon for an arm

Yeah, Vlad should be a HOF'er, but probably will have to wait multiple ballots before he gets in.
