Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

That video is 4 years old. Backman is currently managing the Mets double A team, the Binghamton Mets. In 2010, he managed the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets minor league team) to the division championship with a 51-24 record but lost in the post season championship series . He was interviewed by the Mets for the 2011 managerial position but obviously lost out to Terry Collins.

I think you are correct. Backman is exactly what the Mets need. The fan base loves him dating back to the '86 world champs. He is extremely fiery to say the least, he knows baseball, he's been successful everywhere he's managed, he played and manages with fire and passion, and he's Mets family. They may never hire him to manage the Mets because hes a risk as hes had drinking and marital problems and he obviously is explosive. His passion for the game is something i believe the Mets have been missing for a long time now. If nothing else, with Backman you'd see 200% effort on the field. The Wilpons/Alderson don't have the guts to give Wally the shot he deserves. Its too bad.
