"Guys here have been sick here for weeks, and I usually don't get sick during the season," Oakland DH Jack Cust said. "I was feeling sick on the plane [to Baltimore]. It was a long trip, I got off the plane and I felt like somebody had hit me on the head with a hammer or something."

Today Cust and the A's continue their series taking on nasty LHP Brian Matusz after falling 5-1 yesterday with Dallas Braden on the mound. Matusz has been shaky but if you've seen the kid pitch, he's got lights-out stuff. Matusz is coming off his worst outing of the year and he's beaten the A's once already this year - on the road to boot.

I don't see the A's getting healthy against Matusz's curve today.
