What to do with my Tex series play

I took Tex for the series at +180. I am starting to have a bad feeling, even with C Lee waiting in the wings for a game 7. My question is should I make a wager on the yankees tonight in an attempt to guarantee winning something for the series or just stick it out and worst case I have C Lee at +180 for a game 7.

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

hang tough mspaz. All you need is 1 game in texas, and one of those cliff lee is going.

if you lose, you lose but no need to try and chase something when the odds are in your favor.

i would wait to see if there is a game 7. if so then put the yanks since you have tex at +180 i'm sure you can make money and you should, its tough enough to beat the books so when you have a sure thing even though it aint much take it.

by the way how do you bold your heading.. Thanks

wait till game 7.

you will get plus money on the yankees. they wont be a favourite against cliff lee. you can guarantee a profit that way if you want with the rangers +180 and the yankees +115 maybe.

or you can place some on yankees probably +115 game 7 and even try a little on the RL yankees probably at a big price.

+180 to win 1 of 2 games... Ride it out no matter what.

If given that option - all of us will take +180 for a playoff team to go .500 in two games.

You hold onto it, rangers won't ever be +180 in a game so you have a huge +EV wager. Only worth hedging if it's game 7 and you can get the Yankees at +120 or better. I have them +160 and I won't be hedging

My only thought was that if I was going to do any kind of "hedging" it would have to be tonight. If I take the Yankees tonight I am still guarenteed to win for the series even if Texas wins tonight. In the even Texas loses tonight I would have made money for gaem 6 and I will take my chances with Lee +180 for a game 7 and hope for the best. If I wait for a game 7 even though I could take the Yankees and still walk away from the series with a profit I dont think I should, or would want to, not just ride it out.

Definatly overthinking this..apologize for the babbling.

Thanks again

Why would you hedge tonight when you will be getting better money in a game 7 against Lee who will be at home? You made the series play because you liked Texas to win didn't you?

Good point. I live in New England and I think I have heard too much about the "yankee magic" and started to doubt the pick. You're right..I still do think Tex wins the series.
