I struggle to understand how players still get busted, while many use, the masking measures these days in the various forms are solid, so I hear.

Thinking probably Upinya83 gets busted, stepped right back into cm last year in great shape and won poster of the year? Stuff like that just doesn't happen naturally, had to be chemically enhanced somehow

I don't think anybody big will get busted anew, but a few more names from the "anonymous" testing done a few years back may somehow be leaked.

One of the masking agents is what got Manny caught. I think.

Anyways, I a firm believer that the commissioners office keeps leaking steroid stuff to keep the attention away from the Dominican signing scandal that has gone on for many years. There has been some press, and some firings of scouts and executives, but not nearly what should have been, due to the constant distraction of the next "big name" steroid story.

How many so called " Five Tool" wonders have been signed by clubs on the recommendation of a scout or personnel director who was padding his own pocket from the contract this poor Dominican player was getting.

I love baseball, and I understand this stuff goes on in hoops with AAU kids, and in football with high school coaches "selling" their kids to colleges. It just seems like Selig has a whole arsenal of people to throw under the bus.

Who's next?

As the years go by, Cooperstown will be getting less guests than anticipated. Unless they open a new wing dedicated to the "experimental" player of the late 80's and beyond.
