I always wondered where W S fans dreamt up possible trades, and still dreaming of doing the lucky W S thing this year..not so much the WS fans here at the Mall, but here in Chicago.

In a recent broadcast on Comcast sports, with 4 local reporters, the topic turned to Halladay being traded to the WS, and what players would be involved. Bacon's name came up and the guy who does both Pregame and Post game shows for all WS games, one to two hours after the games, Chris Rongy, stated, Never would he place Bacon in a trade, unless MAYBE for Hanley.

I almost fell off my couch, but then realized he was a big source of all the dreaming.

For all the love that Mauer gets, Morneau is a hell of a player. Also, one guy that has been quietly very good the last month that few people have noticed is Derek Lee. His stats are as good as Alberts over the last 30 days and his glove is as good as anyone's.

If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.” ---Jim Valvano

You must be kidding. There have been non stop discussions amongst sagacious members, (Some can only argue and have blinders on) about DL vs Howard, when comparing all months but April and whether or not Lee should have had consideration..

It will only take a few minutes for some Birdman to start all over again.

Chi Bob, I don't come in here too often, just live in the midwest and all I hear about is Mauer and Albert. Just suprised that I don't hear much chatter about it living in an area where most are Cub, Cardinal and Twins fans.

Don't think I said either, but just what are you talking about..Top 2, Top 10???

Who said he was. I believe Ghoopin was pointing out he has been hot lately, and I agreed, but where was it said he was #2 player, or even a top 10?
