Why are the Braves so cheap tonight?

Granted Jurrjens was not good last time out but he owns the Fish, the Marlins can't hit anyone right now, they are on an 8 game losing streak and they send Volstad to the mound who is 2-5 with a 5.67 ERA.

Are the Braves sitting some players tonight? Seems fishy that the line is only -116??

That is the first thing I thought of when I saw the line as well...I was thinking closer to -140. The only thing I can thing of is that Prado might be out and maybe the are going to sit Jones or McCann...I liked the Braves but the line looks off to me.

Check the Braves record when they are a road dog from -110 to -130. They really stink.

The Marlins stink as a home fav from -105 to 120, but they stink less than the Braves.

I'm staying away from this game but if you forced me to bet on it I would take the Marlins for a small play.

The Braves aren't a road dog.......
....and the Marlins aren't a home favorite

If McCann is playing, take the Braves.

Just read Prado is hopeful for tonights game and may be good to go. He chews up Volstad.

Yes, I ran the numbers correctly but wrote that up wrong. So, the Braves on the road with a line between -140 and -120 suck and the Marlins at home with a line between -105 and 120 also suck. But, the Marlins suck a little less than the Braves and they are + odds, so if I had to take them I would take them for a small play.

date>20100101 and site=away and line >-141 and line <-119
17-21 -1020 810 Braves

date>20100101 and site=home and line >-106 and line <121 and team
7-15 -760 690 Marlins

Can't pull the trigger on the side so playing the total. 80% of the money is on the under...

Playing over 7.5 runs tonight.
