Why RUDY likes the OVER in Texas tonight;
The Play: White Sox/ Rangers OVER 10.5 (Note: this TOTAL is now down to 10 in certain places)
Ok, John Danks is clearly a quality pitcher here and has apparently fared well agst the Rangers. We do lose a big bat with Jermaine Dye probably not playing tonight, at least he is scheduled not to start (left last night's game after getting hit in the hand). However: - Danks is coming off a miserable outing against the Mariners - Matt Harrison is a garbage pitcher without a quality start this season...yes, he did get the WIN last out but gave up 4 runs in 7 innings - The last time Harrison faced the White Sox 23 runs were scored...the last time Danks faced the Rangers 16 runs were scored - Over is 13-5 in Harrisons last 18 starts overall - Agst southpaws, Rangers avg 7.3 runs with a .295 BA - Agst southpaws, White Sox avg. 6.4 runs with a .292 BA - White Sox have hit the Rangers in Arlington: .330 BA overall and .500 BA agst southpaws last season and this season - Rangers have hit White Sox in Arlington: .324 BA overall and .324 BA agst southpaws last season and this season - Rangers pen is miserable with a season-to-date ERA of 5.70 - The rain has cleared out, however the humidity has not. One word of caution: - we do not have an OVER umpire behind the plate in Andy Fletcher! GL to all, RUDY |

I hope Rudy can produce 4 runs here in the top of the ninth.
