Wiz's MLB 4-Pack

Pittsburgh at Chicago W/S

I’ll play on the total in this match up between two teams that have not hit well this season. The Pirates are scoring 4.4 runs per game on the road this year, but hitting just .233 as a team. Meanwhile, the White Sox come in with just 3.6 runs per game on their home field and a team batting average of just .224. Runs will be few and far between, just like last night’s 2-0 White Sox win.

recommend: "UNDER" 9.5

Colorado at Detroit

The Tigers are the much better hitting team and have balance as opposed to Colorado. The power differential is enormous and the home cooking here will be very clear. The Tigers have ripped off seven straight wins, as they resume their home series with the Rockies.

recommend: Detroit

Diamondbacks/A’s

While Dan Haren is on the mound and has been spectacular. He travels home to face his old team who is quite familiar with him. Arizona has also been hot lately as Reynolds and Upton are swinging great bats. This is a very respectable line to take as 5-3 either way gets it done.

recommend: "OVER" 7.5

Texas at Houston

The Rangers ended a three-game skid Friday at Houston and are 14-5 in their last 19 games, and the under is 8-3 in Texas’ last 11 contests. Also, the under is a perfect 5-0 with Scott Feldman on the hill for the Rangers.

recommend: Texas

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Baltimore at Washington

Okay, the Nationals have been pretty bad at home with a 6-14 record. They have Detwiler on the mound today and I really like this match up for him. The young LHP threw 5IP in his first start giving up just 4H and 0BB for a 0.80whip! He did give up 2 runs on a HR, but he had 6K's in 5IP. Do not expect him to make a claim to a spot in the starting rotation as Cabrera and Olsen have been awful. I can see him giving an extra effort today to show that he deserves to be in the rotation.

The Orioles can not hit LHP. In their last 10 games they are scoring 0.67 Runs/9 Innings with a .172 average. In the last 5 games they are scoring a 1.64 Runs/9 with an average of .175. Today they go against a tough lefty on the road where they are 6-14. Orioles after a win have cost 8.04 units and they have just a .250W/L% in that situation.

Uehara will be on the mound he has a 6.09 road ERA compared to his 2.63 home ERA and the Nats do hit RHP much better than they do a LHP. This play looks easy to me as all the public is on the Orioles and the juice is quickly coming off the Nats for one reason only.

recommend: Washington

Mickey, you think Oakland will cover a 2.5 runs spread? Trying to hedge a $500 (3 team parley) that pay $1750. 2 hit already, 3rd team is Arizona. Thinking to bet on Oakland +1.5 or 2.5, looking to middle both side.

Your asking the wrong person when it comes to hedge plays b/c i never done it,But i like Arizona to win it straight up,but if you were to hedge then it seems +2.5 is better than 1.5 even if the payout is less..Gl on what you do.

Mickey, I hedge A's +1.5 -125 for a nickel. I hit both the run line as well as the parley. Couldn't have scripted any better. It was a roller coaster. Went from smart hedge for the first 8 inning, to why did I hedge in the top of 10th, to good job and nice game ending double play in the bottom of the 10th.
