Post Wiz's side & total recommends

Milwaukee at Houston

70+% of the public are on the Brewers and Jeff Suppan. I guess probably cause since Oswalt really has not been the same pticher this year. He's got quality numbers vs. the Brewers and the Astros are 8-1 his last 9 home starts. Houston also is 24-8 their last 32 games as a favorite. I think the Astros are going to start to turn the corner now that Berkman seems to be getting into his groove. Berkman .313 last 7 days with 1HR/RBI. He's got solid numbers vs. Suppan .412avg 3HR 34AB. With all the public money on the Brewers the line went the other why as the juice increased from -125 open to -135 on the Astros. The Astros have won seven of their last 10 overall.

recommend: Houston (small play)

Pittsburgh at Washington

The Nationals are on an over tear of 13-3-1 in their last 17 contests, including 9-1-1 in their last 11 games, and Washington has lost seven straight games, as they continue a home series with the Pirates.

Pittsburgh has won five in row, with the over going 4-1 in that span.
Pittsburgh will start Ian Snell, who has struggled with a 1-5 record and 4.93 ERA. The right-hander has had problems with his command and the Nats hitters should be able to take advantage of that.

Washington will turn to Craig Stammen, who is making his major league debut. The right-hander joins a rotation that has a major league-worst 5.84 team ERA. The bullpen is a dreadful 1-15 on the year after last night’s loss.

recommend: "OVER" 10
