World Series Betting - some good info on the World Series..
It was supposed to be New York v Philadelphia but Texas and San Francisco both pulled off major upsets to set up an unexpected World Series. Nick Shiambouros looks at the betting ahead of game one
The Texas Rangers will play the San Francisco Giants in the World Series which gets underway on Wednesday at AT&T Park. Texas are marginal favourites to be crowned champions at [1.78] with the Giants available at [2.3].
The Rangers beat the Yankees 4-2 in a surprisingly one sided American League Championship Series to make it to the World Series.
This young team has been a revelation in the post-season, pitching superbly and scoring runs at crucial moments against quality opposition.
Texas has a post season ERA of 2.76 spanning 11 games. Cliff Lee, A.J. Wilson and Colby Lewis must take most of the credit for this incredibly low average while Josh Hamilton has generated plenty of runs for this hard hitting team.
