Basically in from center, 11 to 12 mph steady. 1-1 o/u this year, 2-10 o/u last season with those conditions. 58 degrees and sunny.

If you watched yesterday, you saw a couple of line-drives stay under the wind and still get out.

Personal opinion, when I see a low total with a bad pitcher starting, it means even more to me, just as I love jumping on the over if a Halladay or some other ace is on the mound with a double-digit total there.

He beat a good Dodger lineup.

But that total is all about the wind.

Cueto is 2-7 o/u against the Cubs, 1-5 o/u at Wrigley. Dempster 6-1 o/u this season, 3-0 at home.

Good over ump. Davidson 5-2 o/u this year.

No play for me, but gun to my head, I'd go under with the wind. Then again, Starlin Castro could throw it into the dugout 3 times, and the Reds could get 2 in-the-park home runs.

The wind is pretty dead by me.
5 mph tops, but I am 200 blocks south and 100 blocks west in the burbs'.

It is funny the difference when you are a mile from the lake.
Could be 45 degrees there and 70 by me.
Crazy stuff.

Anybody see Dempster sneak his foot in before he was tagged?

Dempster was safe, I wish they slowed that replay down.
