Yankee fans @ the ballpark....

You know what is sad.....all of those padded lower level seats were checkered with people throughout the season. Now they are filled with "suits" who probably don't own one piece of Yankee apparel. During the telecast I've seen multiple people in suits carrying on conversations, not even paying attention to what is happening on the field. First of all, why the hell would you wear a suit or dress clothes to a playoff baseball game? Why would you do it to any baseball game? I could care less if most work downtown or on wall street....it's called taking a change of clothes to work.

This is just one of the many reasons people hate the Yankees, and more or less, can't stand their fans. Why should they be allowed to boo when the Rangers beat their a$$ all over the place? Half of them were selling their tickets on Ebay or Stub Hub to make an extra buck during the reg. season....

Enough about this, but I think it's time to pay a little respect to the average Joe who is sitting in the upper level, drinking a beer (not a glass of wine), cursing at whoever is at the plate for the Rangers (even though they can't be heard), and going crazy when something good happens. Spending hard earned money to watch a game in the upper levels is more of a fan than a corporate junkie ever will be.

This Bud is for you Average Yankee Joe.....

Once the playoffs start, the regular fans get booted from their season seat, in favor of the sponsors who shell out the big $$$ for the TV ads at all the ballparks..Those in the suits are execs..happens in every stadium

Happens in every stadium? Come to the Cell sometime in Chicago and show me all the "suits" that are sitting all around the lower level.......the execs are in suites. ty.

Also, I like how the lower level seats have started to clear out as the Yanks are down 7-3....weren't they down 5-0 in Game 1? Hmmm, another great moment for Yank fans.

Did you read his post? He said during the POSTSEASON and it's the truth.

I'm pretty sure if you went to the Cell right now you wouldn't find anyone in those pricy seats.

They had ample opportunity to put away Texas early. It seemed like every inning they had 2 on, 1 out or based loaded and 1 out, and couldn't get a hit to save their life. However, as much as I would love to see them gone tomorrow, I think they show up.

When you have a wounded bear cornered, they come out fighting and I think that is what happens tomorrow.
