Post Your Winner For Today

San Fransisco at Colorado

( Baseball System) PLAY AGAINST road underdogs with a money line of +100 to +150, who are poor power hitting team like San Francisco (<=0.9 HR's/game), against a starting pitcher who gives up 0.5 or less home runs a start, with a NL starting pitcher whose WHIP is 1.250 to 1.350 on the season. Since 2005, this system checks in a 36-9, 80 percent.

The Rocks send to the mound Jason Marquis (14-8, 3.58 ERA). The righty has won his last two starts, with a 2.77 ERA, and he’s 4-2 with a 2.52 ERA in nine career appearances (eight starts) against the Giants.

On top of that, the Rockies are on rolls of 50-23 overall and 25-10 at home, and they’re on a 10-1 tear at Coors Field against lefty starters --- with the Giants giving the ball to Barry Zito today.

San Fran is on a 5-1 upswing behind Zito. But they have a tendency to give the southpaw very little run support --- they gave him no runs over his six shutout innings against the Reds last Wednesday in a 1-0 victory, the second straight time that’s happened. In fact, nine times this year, Zito has gotten a bagel in the run support department from his teammates.
The Giants have also dropped six of their last eight division contests.
