I am really excited about the sox/rangers game tonight. For some reason, since I started watching baseball 4 or 5 years ago, my favorite pitcher was Rich Harden. His velocity has changed since he was on the A's, but he is still a talented guy. My other, newer favorite: Jake Peavy. Both guys are in bad slumps right now, and I expect one of them to have a great game tonight. My guess: Peavy. He claims to have figured out the problem with his mechanics, and had a few more words to say as well:

"I didn't hear all these critics talking last year, when I did what I did after about the same amount of starts that I've made this year. [When I was] 3-0 with a low ERA, nobody was talking then."

Hmm now why would they criticize you when you are pitching terribly but not when you are pitching like an ace?

Anyway, I will probably avoid betting sides on a sox game for a while since they are on a ridiculous rollercoaster ride that makes them damn hard to cap. I like both these guys doing their job tonight and sox failing to produce. Under.
