no value really here IMO

iowa, ohio state or wiscy should take it.

would take a shot with wiscy if the odds were higher tho.

Ohio State or Iowa forget the rest, win easy, trust, just pass and play the key games

The State of Ohio and im not sure its close. I dont like Iowa a whole lot although they do get the Buckeyes at home. no one else seems threatening to me

I give Wisconsin a shot here. If their HC allows the offense to open up, they can be one of the best in the Big 10. They also get Ohio State at home, and may fly under the radar.

wisconsin will never be a threat. They have never traditionally been a good road team under Biliema or even Alvarez. They will drop 2 on the road in the Big 10 and have a tough time really staying in the hunt imo

Agreed, but like Isay, it is a shot. If Wisky beat Ohio State, and Ohio State beats Iowa, we may get rid of the Big 10 in the N.C. game which would be a good thing.

Good. I think that they are flying under the radar. Believe it or not, they are a Pk on the future line at the Golden Nugget at Michigan State. A Pick? Really? BEFORE they play Ohio State or Iowa? A game sandwiched in between home games against Austin Peay (whoever they are) and Minnesota? Needless to say, I dumped on that future. Wisconsin should be 6-0 when Ohio State comes calling. Ohio State should have the same record, although they must host Miami (FL). The future line is Ohio State -3. Interesting line.

im starting like wisky dick to win this conference. i think they get the W v Ohio State at home.

main concern is they have a road game at Iowa the next week so they will have to be ready to turn around, no let down.

im flip flopping all aound in this division. IM starting to like Iowa even though i hated them last season and found them over rated. I jsut cant help looking at these facts.

The Schedule. How did they manage such a nice conference schedule? Penn St, Ohio St, and Wisconsin ALL at home. That is a significant advantage IMO.

They also have one of the best defenses in the nation, especially run D and they return their stars in that aspect.

Last year they held Penn St to 109 yds on 33 attempts ON THE ROAD.

Wisconsin 88 yds on 33 attempts ON THE ROAD.

Ohio St had 209 yds on 54 attempts 4.5 yds/att and if i remember correctly Ohio St broke a couple of big 40+ yarders so the numbers might be a little skewed to how dominate the defense plays against the run.

Lets not forget what they did to the rushing attack of Georgia Tech in their BCS game, 143 yds on 41 attempts.

Wisconsins strength is the run. Ohio States strength is the run. Penn St the run. I think Iowa could be very dominate at home defensively.

With that being they must have a more efficient offense, which is obvious. However, the most important thing is they cant play to the level of their competition which they did last year alot.

The struggled against Northern Iowa, Arkansas St, Michigan St, and eventually got upset by Northwestern at home. IF they can avoid these types of let downs they will be good.

I'm still uncertain about who i like in this league, but i have to say that studying Iowa they are starting to seem like a front runner to me...

thoughts?
