Monday BCS Title Game Action!

1-1 last night, won the bigger play on No Ill, lost the Over.

Going against the grain locally here....

Alabama -1 -125 Talked a lot about the last game here, but this pick isn't just because they would've won last if they hadn't missed 4 FGs. Alabama has a slight edge over LSU in most general stat categories, including passing, rushing, total defense (#1 vs #2), and they are better at converting 3rd downs on the season and in the last meeting. Bama QB McCarron with slightly better completion percentage and yards per completion than LSU's Lee.

The Tide are in the position of being the lower-ranked team favored over the undefeated high-ranked team, a very common play-on spot for me. And they're basically a road team here, even though Bama fans were out everywhere around here last night. The road team is 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings. Bama started as a 1-point fave, and they're up to -2.5 at most outs, despite LSU getting between 58% and 64% of the high volume of wagers depending on where you look....another common play-on situation for me. LSU getting almost two-thirds of the ML and teaser action, too.

Picked Bama to win it all before the season started, and here they are with a chance to do it. No matter what happens, at least it's the SEC!

Don't know. Top 2 D's, but the total is ticking up, despite the Under getting more action. Everyone saw the 15 points scored in a FG-fest last time. Under almost seems too attractive. People forgetting they both score over 35 points per game, and tend to go Over in conference games. Bama's last 5 Bowl games went Over.

No play, but gun-to-head, I'd go over just to do it.

Don't know. Probably can't go wrong with either side in this one, but you don't have to cross the zero with LSU. Don't think it'll be decided by more than 10. GL whatever you decide!
