If you are in Vegas, and like LSU to win straight out, the ML at a couple of shops has climbed to +130. Not bad for a 2.5 point dog. Normally, the ML would be around 115-120. That is a decent value wager. In another very odd line, you can get Alabama -.5 for a 1st half wager, and -1.0 for a 2nd half wager. That does not add up to -2.5 for the game. So if you take 'Bama for both halves, but LSU for the game, it could get interesting. So I will make 3 very small wagers and call them my "throw away" wagers. 'Bama -1/2 for the 1st half. 'Bama -1 for the 2nd half. LSU +130 ML for the game. Just for the hell of it. By no means am I suggesting that anyone do this.

Mule. great to see you. Good Luck tonight, though I am going the other way. I have LSU tonight. I also am alive to a 3 team parlay which I called by "Louisiana Parlay." I have LSU at even, so theyhave to win for me. I then played 1/10th of my normal wager on LSU +130, and 1/5th of my normal wager on 'Bama -.5 in the 1st half, and -1.0 in the 2nd half. It's all screwed up, but this is what happens when you try to do 19 different things at once.

I have been gaming 40 plus years and this game is one of the top 5 as far as the amount of dollars I have ever wagered.

My sources in Tuscaloosa said this was the most focus team they had ever seen. They proved to be right.
