signing day is a little rediculous, but it's on ESPNU, I watch the U maybe 5 times a year, unless I have a investment on a game. It's fun to watch, and I'm sure if I was a diehard fan of an SEC I'd be more into it. It's nice that these kids get to feel like the HNIC for their 2 min acceptance moment. It's no different than ESPN/ABC making money off of the LLWS IMO.

Most do never amount to their projections, mostly due to because it's a win now thing and next year there will be a player just as good as you coming in. A lot of these guys come from a situation of never leaving their city, and now they are in Tuscaloosa or Gainesville. I've been to Tuscaloosa, there isn't shit going on there except for the Tide. Miles away from there mom and those nice coaches who pumped you up recruiting now only care if you're gonna help them win. Talent alone isn't going to help.
