"TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State's Nigel Carr is facing suspension while authorities sort out a handful of charges against the junior linebacker from Jacksonville, including two felony charges.

The 20-year-old was arrested by Tallahassee police Sunday on two counts of auto burglary, criminal mischief, credit card theft and fraud. The report also noted Carr was arrested July 22 for possession of marijuana.

Coach Jimbo Fisher, who is in North Carolina for the annual Atlantic Coast Conference football kickoff gala, says the university's policy is to suspend athletes facing felony charges.

Carr was named the Seminoles most dependable linebacker in spring practice and was slated to begin the season as their starting strong side linebacker."

And people actually thought that things would change when the "Nolls changed wardens, er Head Coaches.

Well, certainly a bigger story than anything those phonies at Texas Tech could come up with. They do not have a defense. Ofcourse, they could always schedule a BCS team to play a non-conference game against, but then they could not throw the YELLOW Tortillas at their games. After all, YELLOW is the perfect color to represent years of non-con games that they schduled, and have scheduled. But when you have never won a conference championshp outright, and are desperate to go to ANY bowl game, this is the kind of scheduleing that you do. Don't worry if you have stocked up on YELLOW Tortillas. Texas Tech has no BCS teams on their non-con schedule for next season, though this may change if the Little 10 does not go to a round robin schedule. If they do go to a round robin conference schedule, the YELLOW Tortillas are safe for yet another season.

guy was clearly a headcase and was already in the doghouse with Jimbo throughout the spring along with Jarmon Fortson, only a matter of time before this happened...seems as if Jarmon has cleaned his act up...shouldnt be a big deal, Mister Alexander won the job in the spring...

That does not sound like "guy was clearly a headcase and was already in the doghouse with Jimbo throughout the spring along with Jarmon Fortson, only a matter of time before this happened...seems as if Jarmon has cleaned his act up...shouldnt be a big deal, Mister Alexander won the job in the spring... " That sounds like this guy was the best that FSU had at this position. If he was in the doghouse, how come he won the starting job? FSU fans must be used to downgrading their major problems, after having to do so for so many years.

your clearly a dumbfuk, I follow this team everyday of my life, I have many friends on the team....I have drank beer, Smoked pot, Snorted anything you can possibly snort, ate shrooms...I know what takes place with college athletes unlike yourself, when I say Jimbo Fisher is a no tolerance kind of guy I mean it, the first day on the job he got the team together and told them they had 30 days to get clean, some did and some didnt, there is a point system in place and you get to a certain amount of points and your gone, doesnt matter if your Greg Ried or your a walk on freshman...
