Pathetic Big East to Take Memphis?
According to a report from CBSSports, Memphis will join the Big East for all sports in 2013. That is fine for hoops, but how pathetic is that for the Big East Football program? Memphis has won 5 games in 3 years, and two of those wins were against FCS teams. They are 2-22 in conference play in those three years, and we are talking about the CUSA. I hope the Big 12 takes Louisville and Cincinnati and puts the Big East out of it's misery, football wise.

Memphis probably has the worst football facilities in Division I football.
Former Memphis coach Tommy West complained loudly about needing improvements in all areas of the football program. West who was fired after going 7-6 and 6-7, blasted the school for the lack of commitment to football. The Tigers ain't going to have a six win season for a long time.
