West Virginia cancels Sept. 8th game at Florida State
Perhaps I'm wrong but I don't think I've ever heard of a similiar situation ocurring relatively close to the game date. However, I guess Boise State is free that weekend. Would LOVE to see that game.

Look for Pitt to take that game. They are moving to the ACC, perhaps as early as 2013. They also have a home game against Va. Tech already scheduled for 2012. It would be a great preview for the new ACC.

Pitt would be a good game as well but I think personally, and I think alot of the national audience, wouldn't mind seeing Boise st there.
Do you know if this is seriously being discussed as far as Pitt?

No I do not, but Pitt has a home game against Va. Tech, so taking this game certainly would make sense. Boise State is out because they already have 6 away games scheduled, including trips to Michigan State and Southern Miss. They will not schedule 7 away games and 5 home games.

I do not see Oregon working. They have a full schedule. They would have to cancel the game with Fresno State, which is a home game. There is way too much money involved.

If Oregon and Florida State played. You would have a great offense against probably the best defense in the nation.
If Dumbo Fisher can get some consistency on offense......FSU will be real good this year. That defense will be as good as anybody.
